I have't lissen much to rainbow / Deep purple in my youth but have just recently realized the greatness in these classic bands.
And rainbow rising is my favorite Blackmore record. All track are excellent:
Tarot Woman, Run with the Wolf & Stargazer gives me a big smile every time I hear them.
The only weak part (if you can talk about wead parts on this record) is "Do You Close Your Eyes" the rest is brilliant. |

| The best Rainbow line-up did the best Rainbow album. Timeless music. Stargazer is one of my favourite-tracks of all time. Brilliant! |

| RAINBOW have indeed made some terrific music. Mr Blackmore sure was a sensational guitarist! |

| Rainbow Rising is probably my favourite album by them. As already mentioned by 'venomcollector' Stargazer is a storming track. |
